When it comes to the octopus, in the world of tattoos, it is viewed as an adaptable creature thriving in the mysterious depths of the ocean. Its ability to change colors, much like a chameleon, allows it to blend seamlessly into its surroundings. Additionally, the octopus is resilient and regenerative, it is able to regrow lost limbs after enduring battles in the deep blue sea. Not only is the octopus considered intelligent and courageous, but as an invertebrate, it exemplifies flexibility and grace.

Renowned martial artist, actor, and philosopher Bruce Lee once said, "Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless... like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; you put water in a teapot and it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crash. Be like water my friend."

In this context, the octopus symbolizes the number 8 and is often associated with the infinity sign. This representation signifies endurance and survival. For all these reasons and more, we are drawn to the octopus, particularly because of its eight limbs, which symbolically empower us to lend a hand into the community to help 8 different groups.
